Petco check presentation to Five Acres Animal Sanctuary

Five Acres Animal Shelter, located at 1099 Pralle Lane in St. Charles, recently received a $7,500 grant investment from Petco Love that will help fund the shelter’s Unicorn Foster Program, which helps train dogs with challenging behaviors to help get them into a forever home. Stacy G. Blum, DO has joined Yoon Dermatology to work with Mohs surgeon, Jaeyoung Yoon, MD, Jacqueline Castagno, PA, and Laura Sills, ANP to provide cosmetic and general dermatology services to patients at both the Fenton office in Suite 106, 1203 Smizer Mill Road  and the Wentzville office at 1060 Meyer Road.

Deana Dothage is the new community engagement and Economic development specialist for the MU Extension-St. Charles County. Originally from St. Charles, she will work to increase residents’ use of the Extension program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice – policing option from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a master’s degree in public affairs at the University of Missouri with a graduate certificate in nonprofit management.

Eli Isele has accepted the position of horticulture field specialist for St. Louis and St. Charles County. Eli holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri and a master’s in sustainable development practice from the University of Florida. Most recently he has been establishing and managing the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center Field Research Site.

The St. Charles Regional Chamber hosts its Lunch with Leaders from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20 at Lindenwood University, 209 S. Kingshighway in St. Charles.
